Welcome to the PSA

We are a registered charity working solely to raise money for Parkwood Primary School.
The Parkwood Schools Association (PSA) is run on a voluntary basis by a small team of committee members and volunteers.
All parents, carers, guardians and staff of the school are automatically members of the PSA and we welcome you to attend meetings and become a committee member.
The funds are primarily used to help fund the school minibus and we also have a target this year to raise money for the installation of new audio visual equipment in the school halls.

What do we do?

Events
Across the school year, the PSA host a number of fundraising events such as school discos, tuck shop and themed school days.

Fundraising
There are a number of ways you can support the PSA including the School Lottery, Easy Fundraising and utilising our new clothes bank (coming soon).

Work with local businesses
We believe in supporting local and as a community would like to encourage the use of our local businesses. We offer sponsorship opportunities which allows us to further work in partnership and build on these relationships.
What students and parents say
“I’ve got one very happy little lady with her year 6 hoodie! Her and all her friends are over the moon with them!“
― Jennifer, Year 6 parent
“I love dancing with my friends at the discos. My favourite parts of the fair were singing in the choir, winning prizes and ice cream!”
― Eliza, Year 2 student
“Volunteering is at the very core of being a human. No one has made it through life without someone else’s help.”

Stay Safe: School Event Scams During Christmas
School charities play a crucial role in fundraising, fostering community spirit, and organising events like the Christmas Fair. Unfortunately, scams targeting local businesses complicate these efforts. It’s essential to verify event details and ensure safety when engaging with opportunities online. Community support should prevail despite these challenges during the festive season.
